Happy New Year !

Dear EABJM Alumni,

I'd like to let you know about a club that seeks to help internationally-minded parents connect, locally and around the world.

I'm familiar with EABJM as my brother attended the school and as a bicultural mom who previously lived in Paris.

A Canadian and French national, I though up this original club after having relocated a number of times around the world with my husband and children without the usual conforts of expatriation.

Being bicultural, I also seek different things for my children than what is usually offered in any given country; strong, multi- language education being one of them. Starbucks being another! ;-)

International Parents was born in September 2009 from these needs. Our young Club seeks to bring globally-minded parents together to meet, exchange advice, and find the specialized products and services they may seek. Our home base is Aix en Provence but our focus is international, with regional clubs all around the world.

We're unique in using the Web to help link us all together across distances via the club's site, located at: www.internationalparents.net/beta .

There's no fee to join International Parents at the basic level but admission is by invitation from existing members or through partnerships with well respected institutions such as EABJM.

Professional service providers wishing to be more visible to other members will be asked to pay a fee on the other hand. Groups wishing a ' private' version of the site will also pay a fee per member.

I'd be happy to send you a sign up link so you can find out more about us and see if it might be useful in helping EABJM alumni connect across distances and locally.

You can also follow news about us here: facebook.com/internationalparents

Look forward to exchanging soon,

Caroline
